1. The service
The COD Shield service ("the service") is operated by Devsnest ("we"). It provides, to WooCommerce stores that connect through the COD Shield for WooCommerce plugin, courier delivery-history lookups, a shared fraud-reputation network, SMS delivery of verification codes, and a Google Ads connection. The plugin itself works without the service; connecting is optional.
2. Your account
A site is connected by the store's administrator from the plugin. You are responsible for keeping the site key confidential and for everything done through your site's connection. You may disconnect at any time from the plugin; your site key then stops working immediately.
3. Plans and payment
The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed in advance through Stripe; prices are shown on the pricing page. Allowances (courier lookups, SMS credits) reset at the start of each billing month and unused allowance does not carry over. You can change or cancel a plan at any time from the plugin; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and we do not refund partial months unless the law requires it.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the service only to assess orders placed with your own store. You must not send us data about people who have not ordered from you, use the fraud network to build profiles of individuals, or attempt to extract other stores' data. We may suspend a site that abuses the service or harms other connected stores.
5. Courier and network data
Courier delivery histories come from the courier companies' own systems and are provided as they report them; we do not guarantee their accuracy. Fraud-network signals are statistical indications from other stores' outcomes, not statements of fact about a person. Decisions about an order remain yours.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. If the service is unreachable, the plugin continues to work without it. We may change these terms or the plans with reasonable notice through the plugin or by email to the connected site's administrator.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
